View Full Version : Windows Or Linux Hosting?
26 Sep 2005, 09:37 PM
We are conducting a survey and we want to find out what Web Masters/Web Developers/Designers prefer to use for their hosting. Do they prefer Windows Hosting or Linux Hosting?
What if the Web pages are designed in HTML and you find a Windows and a Linux Host offering their services for the same price (considering the competition in the hosting industry these days). Which one will you choose?
Please share your views.

Linux Hosting is best than Windows Hosting..Linux Hosting support PHP,PERL languages and Databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL,etc..It's open source environment. This means that the software(PERL,PHP) and all the updates are free of charge. This is very user friendly and handy....So you can host your site at Linux OS Platform based hosting service...You get the Linux Hosting at from www.9cubehosting.com (http://www.9cubehosting.com/)

I choose Linux hosting. Why? Of course, security reason for some cases. Also, using Linux hosting you can optimize your hosting features more reliable, easy, fast, and good performance when compare with another OS.
