View Full Version : Looking for Suggestions

Hi - I have designed (FrontPage) and maintain an internal website for my employer, with about 5000 employees. It's used primarily as a resource for procedures, news, contact info, etc., and is not interactive.

I recently volunteered to "design" a site for a condo development in NH where I own property, but this one needs to be more of a discussion forum, where owners can discuss issues, exchange weeks, share ideas, etc...much like this forum, but on a much smaller scale (50 owners).

Does anyone have suggestions on available software or downloadable "skins" (is that the correct term) which I could use to build a site?

Thanks for any help.

If you're going to do a forum, pick your forum software first.

Many hosts offer free forum software. Ask before buying.

Otherwise, phpbb is a good choice. Check it out on wikipedia & google.
