I'm doing research before I commence some ideas i have for internet business's/streams of income.
I've been looking into payment gateways/merchant accounts/shopping carts and wondering the following...
I don't want to use paypal,and seriously considering a merchant account.
Now i'm planning to set up several different sites with different domains.
Is it possible to use the same merchant account with different sites?
I'll be a sole proprietor in all of them.
My main source of income will be web design,the other sites passive income (hopefully). I'm thinking of using MYOB,and tax time shouldn't be too difficult,as its personal income..perhaps when i register for an ABN (I'm in australia..) I register my trading names(which would be domain names i presume??) at the same time..so essentially i would need to decide domain names beforehand?
I'm rushing to type this up,so forgive me if its all over the place.If it is in the wrong place,feel free to move it.
So basically,i'm thinking of using moneybookers or digibuy..or apply to an australian bank for a merchant account. When i set up new sites,can i implement the payment option across all sites? Am i limited by the type of payment processing option i choose?
