What is an easy way to have a text file automatically appear in your site after updates are made to the file by a client.

New at this, hopefully you experts can help!

Using PHP you could pull the data from the file, but not sure how to do it every time the file is updated. Seems to me it would be a lot easier just to use a basic content management system.
