Help creating anchor tags to blog entry

I want to link some stuff in my blog entry (in wordpress) so it will go to a certain part of the page etc... I created anchor tags, which i use in my regular web pages which works fine. But when I created the anchor tags and saved it and previewed it, all the breaks disappeared and all my text are all in almost 1 paragraph. whats up with that? how can I fix that? Is there an editor online that can edit blog entries with adding anchor tags and stuff? please someone help me!! THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!

I don't know offhand but you could switch to HTML mode in the text editor and add the relevant tags down the page. The save and publish you post.
