Until they crawl your site again. Depends on how popular they think your site is combined with how often it changes, I think. I have one site that the Googlebot hits almost every day and another that seldom gets crawled. There's a big difference between the two. The first has a lot of content added throughout the day, every day; the latter is pretty static. Apparently they figured this out and adjusted accordingly.
