What course to take for beginer

Hi,

I am interested in getting into web design mainly as a hobby....our local college has courses in HTML and also dreamweaver. What would you recommend to take?

click on my signature link, and find some tutorials there to help you. local colleges will probably show you the wrong ways of doing web designs, like slicing, and probably image mapping.

why bother wasting money on that? buy a book, read, learn, and design.
