Hi everyone. First of all, I would to introduce myself. My name is Angel. I'm a web developer/web designer from the Philippines. I have developed over 50 projects in my 7 years of IT-related experience. I started my career as a VB/ASP/VB.net programming then shifted to opensource 4 years ago. My skills include PHP, ASP, JavaScript/AJAX, XHTML, CSS, CodeIgniter, Joomla, WordPress, Photoshop, Flash, etc. I used to work from morning till midnight for about a year (yes I can show proof) until I got so tired and quit all my jobs (full-time, part-time, per project) late last year, not realizing that the global crisis would affect my family. I sold my car and spent all the resources I saved up on traveling to other countries (what a dumb decision). Now I'm back to my senses and I'm looking for investors who are willing to be my partners. I have completed several projects while jobless and "on vacation" but I can't launch them because I don't have money to buy domains (you won't believe how poor I am now). I guess you have learned that you can earn through ads and affiliate marketing.

If you're interested, please contact me.
Thanks.

if your so qualified then why cant you find work?

You have a lot to offer with a full skillset and if the development market where you live is as vibrant as the UK market then you wont have any problem at all. Market rates in the UK for a .NET developer is £250 - £300 per day or £45,000 - £65,000 per annum

from here you will be in a better position to chase your dreams / projects

sorry but i'm not from the uk. i have started actively looking for a job since february but all i am being offered is less than US$1,000 a month (subject to 15% tax) so i decided not to employ for now. i guess it has something to do with the recession :(

i guess working at home will be my best option for now. i just need to rebuild my portfolio and hopefully, get projects regulary.

This seems like some kind of scam, no offense.

Like you can't afford domains? For like, $6? And you can get unlimited hosting for under $4 a month.

Just what I thought when I read it.

lol i can't believe i'm being suspected as a scam. darren, you might wanna know me better before you post something like that. but it's ok since you said "no offense". i can show you some of my sample works (and i have the source code for all my work so i can prove i made them) if you want. it's not that i can't afford to buy domains.. but as a guy who has kids, every penny is important. and i just can't rely on my projects.. it takes months or probably a year to get something out of them. that's why i need investment. i can get work but as my friends advise me, it's better if i try freelance for now.

is_numeric, unfortunately i'm not a .net developer anymore. and most companies look for c#.net, not vb.net. the last time i used vb.net was in 2007 for a small intranet application. all projects after that were all in php.
