Dear All,
I am starting an online store which will have near about 800 products and a needs to handle a custumer base of 300.some of the products will be updated on a weekly basis
Because of monetary constraints i would like to know whether the open source software like MYSQL reliable or not.
But also i would not like to compromise on the loading time of the site

I am new to all this so if some wants to give anyother advice i will be glad

if your new to this i would advise on a shop-in-a-box

This removes a lot of the technical knowledge needed to build the thing.

If you were to start from scratch then it would take a long time just to get the basics down

a couple to check out...
