this probably happens a lot here but first let me begin by thanking you for being here. I have an e-commerce site that I maintain but just get by. I am far from a pro. I can copy code and know basic html and can work well with frontpage and dreamweaver but by working off code I have already or copy and changing what is needed. I host on yahoo and my site should be a database but the designer we hired talked me out of it. Now 5 years later I shouldn't have let her. Oh well - eventually. The reason I said all this is I hope you wont mind being a bit more specific for me as I am unsure of alot.

Here is my dilemma. My brother and business partner is a well known female impersonator. I saw how we could build a business on this and have a niche market site catering to this specialty market. With his notoriety we have done ok. He is nominated for a nightlife magazine award where you have to vote online. I want to put the voting up on my site but the vote submission has to go to their page so the votes count. I don't want to just put a link up for a few reasons. 1st being people are more likely to vote if I don't send them elsewhere. The next reason is I only want to put the categories up he is nominated for. The reasons for that are - to keep it simple, not to confuse voters with questions that are only local to NY and lastly because the magazine caters to gay readers. While no one would be shocked my brother performs at a gay club , believe it or not - most of our clientele is straight. I don't want to cause discomfort for them. Basically I want to do whatever I can to ensure the votes. The last reason is I want to get rid of all the ads.

Here is the original page that the voting is at.

http://hx.com/vote

Here is the only info I want on my page.

http://www.tranniegear.com/testvote.html

I voted on the hx site with just answering the two categories I want on my page and leaving the rest blank. There was no problem. After I voted it brings me to a page saying thank you for the vote. Please enter your name and email. The URL remained the same (http://hx.com/vote) so it must be a frame.

Can anyone help me with coding so the page I put up on my site (http://www.tranniegear.com/testvote.html) goes to http://hx.com/vote and records the vote...and asks the voter the info after the voter hits submit.

I hope this all makes sense...and it's possible. If you want to test it out to see how it works please vote for Jesse Volt (I know - I am shameless trying to get votes for him). If you enter a name and email don't worry about a lot of junk mail. I have done this many times and just get an invite to the awards.

Thank You!!!
