View Full Version : resizing SWF in Dreamweaver according to browser resolution

I created a site in Flash with a stage size of 800 x 600. I then brought it into Dreamweaver, and centered the SWF, with its native fixed size. When I upload it to my site, it looks great in higher resolutions, ie: 1440 X 960 or 1680 x 1050, but gets cut-off in lesser resolution settings (and generates scrollbars, which I don’t want).

My question is whether I can have the stage resize for screens with lesser resolution settings? If I set it to 100%, all of my images become pixelated when it is stretched beyond its native size. Is there a way to to keep my native size of 800 x 600 for higher resolutions, but for lesser resolutions detect a user’s resolution and resize the SWF accordingly?

I only know very basic Flash and Javascript…

Thanks in advance for your help!
