Website with radio streaming

Hi there! I'm a new here and i am glad to be part of this forum. We'll my question is, can i ask some guidelines on how to build a website such radio streaming. In addition to this, a friend of mine ask me, actually he's a station manager of a radio station here in my town to build me a online radio streaming... any idea? Any help would highly appreciated. You need software to encode and then stream the audio. There are different products available that will do this.
