copy text from textbox to new page?

Setup:

Page 1 Page2
-has a textbox and a button -just a label


I am not sure how to do the following steps once the button is clicked

1)copy the text in the textbox
2)open page2
3)paste that copied in that label on page2

Thanks for the help. Hopefully this is enough info for someone to steer me in the right direction:)
