A client that I am planning to make a website for gave me a site template (psd) that he wants me to use for the site. He said his friend gave it to him for his site. It looks like something that would have come from a site like template monster. I am not sure if it was actually purchased. Can I use this and just modify it quite a bit? or could there be legal issues here? I have been told before that if I modify an image by 15% it is legally mine. any truth to that?
