Adding to site, not sure where to start

I want to add some things to my current site but not sure where to start or what questions to ask. sell multiple products in multiple color options. What I am looking for is for the customer to be able to choose different color options and for the options to render on the screen. Sort of a design your own product option. I assume this is done in flash. What I am looking for is simialar to the boat builder on rangerboats.com as seen here. http://www.rangerboats.com/staticPages/includes/customfinishshop/Z_Comanche_web.htm

Any ideas?
