Tumblr blog with forum

I want to use the Tumblr blog interface for my domain name, but I also want to create a forum on GoDaddy.

Is it possible to use the Tumblr interface for my main domain name and then add a link to the forum at: domainname.com/forums.

This might be a stupid question, but any help is appreciated.

I'm not sure what your reasons for these software choices are, but unless you have to use these, I would recommend using Wordpress as the blogging / CMS platform, and BBpress for the forum. These are both made by the same people and can be setup to use the same back-end which would make administration much easier.

There are alot of freely available templates for wordpress if you are new to web design.
