1) Your current skill level in any web related field
I am a newbie!
2) Do you want to do this yourself or employ someone?
Not really sure yet. I have access to Dreamweaver cs5 and I'm hoping to be able to do at least the preliminary stuff myself and get the ball rolling before i bring anyone in.
3) Where relevant can you provide an example of what you are trying to achieve.
I am trying to make a website that has user-submitted news. I know its not entirely original but i think i have a couple of great ideas to build on the core idea. Anyways, I'm trying to build a website that functions similar to N4G.com or Digg.com. I want the ability to have a webpage where users can submit news stories into certain categories.
Now here's where I'm confused. If someone submits a news story, is it automatically uploaded to the site by some type of code or is there someone behind the scenes all day submitting these stories back to the website??
I hope that made sense, and please take it easy on me if this makes no sense whatsoever, cause I am just beginning! :)
