Hi All,
I've been SEOing my site over the last few weeks.. trying to get more pages indexed etcetera.
I normally dont bother looking at the "search queries" table in google webmaster because the results never seem to reflect true search results. I checked today and noticed that for the sites primary keyword, my "avg. position" is listed as 1.0 - which at face value is freakin great news.
Thing is.. if I search for that keyphrase, my site is in position 8 - where its been for months. I realise that if your logged into google, your results may be skewed based on your history. But still.. I dont believe that my page is result 1 for the keyword.
Any thoughts?
