hello guys

I have not much experience to websites, web hosting etc.
I would like to ask your opinion as you are more expert.

I am vfx artist student, I have some advance knowledge about computers and little bit for html. I would to create a website as a personal portfolio in order to host my showreel (video, images etc.)
So far I have a free one using weebly services http://www.cparliaros.weebly.com which if I want I cant pay and get rid of the "weebly" name from my url but I am not sure if it is the right choice.

I like the idea to buy a package not very expensive which gonna give you your domain name and be able to support you with suite of tools for basic web construction.

I am looking forward for your advises.

cheers,
Christos

Hi,

Its always a good idea to buy a domain name, some webspace and hire a designer to make the site for you using a CMS. That way you will have your domain and you can update your site on your own.
