Say you have a link at the top of the page. And there's an image or something also on the page. Is there a way to change where the link sends you depending on whether their mouse rolled over the image?

Maybe rolling over the image with the mouse causes the original link to disappear and a new one to appear in it's place?

Is there a way, somehow, to achieve this effect (if the mouse rolls over something, it changes where the link sends you)?

Or even better, is there a way to change where the link sends you depending on if the user has scrolled the page at all?

BTW, in case I didn't make it clear, the image is on a completely different section of the page from the link. When the mouse goes over the image, it changes the destination of the link. So, if the user clicks on the link without ever putting the mouse over the image it will take him to page1, but if he had at some point placed the mouse over the image the link will take him to page2 whenever he clicks on the link.
