If you want to optimize the pictures that have been placed on web pages about different different topics, just give them a name based on the chosen keywords to promote. And write some lines about images, which will help images to get found when people use image search engines. Also you can use Alt attribute and title tags for the pictures

Image optimization is very important technique in SEO as Search engines do not crawl images so we should have to use the image alt tags to describe an image with relevant keywords.

As you know that Google can't read (crawl) images directly. So provide descriptive alt tag with images. Name should be according to nature of image. Better if you surround some related text around that image.

Selection of the actual images can be very important indeed, so instead of picking some number of alphabets, choose the actual keywords that match the pictures themes, and the atmosphere on your web pages.

Using proper Alt attributes can also be recommended, especially when there are many images on your website with links pointing to other internal areas of your website. Using keyword -rich images folders can also help.

Choose the image, save it by your keyword name, choose a suitable alt tag, Give a descriptive title and description and finally give an external link to it. These are the proper steps to optimize an image.
