Nowadays, a cross browser compatibility is a big issue which must have to be removed from your website to reach at every potential user. It makes much of a loss if your business website has a browser compatibility issue.

Another great way to cure browser differences, i.e. in Internet Explorer because that is the usual suspect, is to use conditional classes for the html tag. That method and all other methods are described in this tutorial (http://conijnwebdesign.nl/tutorials/how-to-target-IE-in-CSS.php).

There will come a day when IE will comply with the standards and Cross Browser Compatibility will then cease to be an issue.
