What is your favorite computer game?

Hey Everyone,

I just have a question for you: what is your favorite computer game? I'd have to go with Age of Empires, though I haven't played many computer games in my life. My new computer came with 5 sport type games including Need For Speed: Porsch Unleashed, so I'm trying those out now. I'm also hoping to get Half Life for Christmas. Anyway, what's your favorite?

Does Playstaion count? I hope so because I don't play PC games. My newest games for that are Tony Hawk 2 and Gran Turismo 2. I like them both.

I have Playstation as well, and my favorite game for that is Metal Gear Solid. That game rocks! :D

Yes, I too have MGS and it's brilliant. I love the part where your a sniper and you have to take out the other (female) sniper and you hearts pounding. It's cool :D

Delta Force I, II, and III and Half Life (Counterstrike) for the computer. I really like Perfect Dark on N64. :)

Yeah, I know! I actually wish they would have included more parts where you have to use the sniper riffle. Maybe in MGS2? :)

You ever play Syphon Filter? You get to use a sniper rifle a whole lot. Then there is Tenchu, which is a Stealth game.

Definitely Tony Hawk 2. My wife says I'm addicted but I could stop anytime time I wanted to, really.:)

I've heard those Tony Hawk games are pretty awesome, though I haven't tried any myself. Maybe I should pick that one up, along with Syphon Filter and Tenchu (I remember when that came out! It was rated grusomest game ever)...

Tenchu two isn't as good as one IMO, I just rented Syphon Filter 2 (still on first level) so I don't know about that one. but I have both Tony Hawks and they are both great. they need more to them though (i've beaten both and want part 3 already) although part two can be a very long game if you want to open everything (to get one secret you need o beat the game with all players)

That's cool. My brother likes that game a lot. I must admit that I've fired it up a few times and spent hours building a crappy rollercoaster. I love making them crash :) Anyway, if she likes that game then she'd probably like any SimCity games. Probably The Sims too.

I have Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2000, but I don't really play that. I have some other small ones and I have Baseball Mogul 2000, which I play a lot. :)

I just finished playing through Half-Life: Oposing Force and Blue Shift. Two more great games in the half-life series!! It put my website slightly behind schedule though ;)

I have never been big on PC games but I would say
my favorite would be ... well I don't got one :(

Tony hawk 2 - I can play this for hours
MGS Vr missions - many beers trying to figure some of it out
Syphon fillter 2 - same as above
GTA 2 - well ..... look what you can do in it

It was on the news a while ago that they found a guy dead in his apartment, doped up on crank and had been online playing Counter Strike for 72 hours or more straight.

The best game I've played recently is Jedi Knight 2 - at the beginning its a normal type of FPS, but then when you get the lightsabre - its one of the best games ever :D

Only problem with Civilization is that you have turns, and it gets boring. Have you tried games like Pharaoh? Basicly strategic city-building games I like a lot.

im quite the PS2 fan, and have been working my way though Rachet and Clank, and also Burnout2. I got bmxXXX the other day, its quite good, although recently, i have been totally hooked on Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon, Sum of all fears and also Conflict: Desert Storm. As far as PC games go, i had to install win98 on my machine again, just so i could play transport tycoon deluxe :P

Wow, a lot of gamers here!

But I think I got you all beat. I've had every gaming console except for Atari, TurboGrafix16, Panasonic 3do (if you remember those consoles)

I've played many first person's, SOF 2 is the best. Kingpin is good and so is Counter Strike but not as good as SOF. I haven't played Jedi Knight 2 but I played the first one, awesome game. I love star wars.

I used to play Diablo 2 but I'm sick of it.

Right now I'm playing Lord of the Rings for PS2. Don't buy that game, too short.

You Tony Hawk fan's should be playing #4.

Quake 3, mod: Urban Terror or Rocket arena 3. I also love Quake 2 and Tribes. If anyone knows of Shogo, its a lot like mechwwarriors, but much better =)
