Dreamweaver forms

Hi,
I am trying to design a guestbook using Dreamweaver form tools. But no matter what I do it always have a rigid look and -of-the-mill presence. Are there options to modify the forms. I want the input text areas to be neater, may be thinner and the text lined up.
I checked the net for advice. There are people who are selling form making software but I want to see if I could achieve my goals using Dreamweaver.
