Help....Trouble with FTP Client

Hey everyone, I am so glad that I found this forum.......I have a big problem.....I am having trouble uploading some resell rights products to my site. I'm trying to utilize the products when someone signs up for my newsletter as a one time offer.

I am very new to all this, and I cant seem to figure out when I upload the zip file to my site, why I get the message " Please use an FTP client to download files more than 2 MB in size"..........for starters, what the heck is a FTP Client, and why would it give me that message if NONE of my zip files are even close to being that big......they are all well under 1 MB....I can upload PDF files all day long and never get an error message..... To be honest, I'm not even sure if I'm doing it the right way.

Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong, and how I can fix it....I'm in kinda a big hurry to my newsletter signup launched.......
