Can you recommend a reliable and reasonably priced web hosting in southern california? I am looking for easy admin panel and good reporting pages.

You should be able to look around the forums and see what other people have to say about hosting companies in California. Most hosting companies nowadays have easy to use control panels and good web stats programs built into the control panel.
