Although i'm not a huge flash fan, i do like how you subtly implemented it on the homepage body.
You should try to stay away from flash navigation (or a 100% flash site for that matter), as it somewhat limits your audience and makes obtaining accessibility standards pretty much impossible. I would especially recommend replacing your flash navbar in your situation, since the same hover effect that you getting from the flash can be obtained through the use of CSS and images.
