    Newbie Question about Site Design

Hello everyone. I am a very 'green' designer just starting to get into everything. My question is probably a very simple one. I use photoshop and Dreamweaver 8 to do my editing and design of my sites for xyz company....after i design the site for them, how do i make the site editable for the client so that they can maintain the site themselves? Which program do I use to do this? and HOw do I do it? This seems to be a common practice, and would love to know how...Thanks to anyone who replys in advance!

You could use a content management system (CMS) which is usually used so that the website designer doesn't have to do mundane daily updates; they can be done by unskilled people online without accessing the original code.

Most CMS software include WYSIWYG editing tools allowing non-technical individuals to create and edit content.

Google "content management system" for lots of free code. These are two that I've seen mentioned in other posts but I've never used them.

Code downloaded to my PC will be deleted in due course.
WIN7; IE9, Firefox, Opera, Chrome and Safari for Windows; screen resolution usually 1366*768.
    Also IE6 on W98 with 800*600 and IE8 on Vista 1440*900.
