I looked at the site very briefly. Here are my first impressions:

1) Too much text on the Home page.
2) I didn't see any animations or films running. There was nothing animated (in motion) and I expected there would be seeing as it is a films site.
3) I liked the overall design and tabbed navigation.
4) I did not care for the logo. I didn't see the connection between the jagged look of the logo and your site (which is about film).
