    Adding registration to existing website

Hello, I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction. I have an existing website where each page is .html

I would like this website to be more "private" to where users need to register/login to view the content on each page.

I still want each page to have some introductory text, but not for the main content.

What would be the best method to do this?

I think this is done by password protecting pages via your control panel. You can then only give those you want (or who pay) access to the PW pages.
The Intro text would need to be on a page of its own.
