    strange behavior in illustrator

    Last week i was using photoshop to resize an image, then crop the image. I would then drag the resized cropped image into illustrator so that i can give the image a border with rounded edges and add to my web site.

    This week i have been doing exactly the same procedure but when i drag the image accross to illustrator it becomes a huge image (from 400px x 200px to 10200px x 5088px!!!). I have no explanation for this at all! Can anybody explain this behavior? When i was dragging the images accross last week there was no change in image size, very strange!
