Dreamweaver 8 page

Hi - my web site is fine except for one small problem - I used and modified one of the dreamweaver templates and when the page opens it does not fit within the first page that opens - however when it is maximised the content fits and it looks fine.

Its driving me crazy and I can't for the life of me find how to get the content to fit inside the initiall page as it opens as well as the page when it is maximised.
