    Google Sandbox

I have heard lately that now Google will hold a new website you submit to them in limbo for 6 to 8 months now before even considering to index you at all. Anyone know if that is true? I think it is a joke, it does not give the searcher modern up to date material. I hate it when I see some 5 year old abandoned dead site at the top of a search query.

Another question, why is it no one can find my rich in specific content sites but every porn, Viagra, and gambling spam bot can? What great technology we have.

it's not true that google won't index a site for 6 to 8 months. i submitted one in february and it was indexed a couple of weeks later, and i'm on the first page for some keywords.

those sites you mentioned get lots of traffic because they send out spam (email and blog) links, and use other "black hat" methods for attracting or buying traffic.
