    Web Links Good or Bad

    Hello Everyone,

New to the site, first post.
    I have a scuba diving website www.divetravelasia.com
The site is around 4-5 months old and seems to be doing well. I have been told by my web designer that he doesn't recommend a links page, because bad links can harm my goggle ranking. I understand that, but what if you link to well known sites with good goggle rankings, is this going to improve my site?

    Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for taking the time to read this...

Any outgoing link is a negative score, and any incoming link is a positive score.

So linking to a relevant site will provide the recipient with better search results. The question of whether you should have outgoing links should not be constrained by your search results - but more about being a useful resource to your visitors.

The more useful your site, the more you will get inbound links, which will increase your search performance.

But you don't have to wait around for this - contact your suppliers and get them to link to you.
