Thumbs down Embedded Video Display Errors

I am trying to embed a video file:

the video plays correctly in Internet Explorer but not in Firefox, Opera or Safari (on PC). As soon as the video starts playing, the controls disappear & the video image behind the frame blows up to 4 times the size, leaving only the top left corner visible. On the Mac the video although centered, is slightly larger than the frame & sits outside of it. I am using a standard embedding script (view source in browser).

    Here are the screen-shots:

    Firefox: http://www.dynamata.com/stress/firefox.jpg
    Mac: http://www.dynamata.com/stress/mac.jpg

The video file was too large for the container, resizing was the solution.
