Help - How to avoid grainy text

    Hi guys,

I've just started trying to teach myself web design. I use frontpage , but have also just bought xsitepro.

Anyways I was wondering if someone could help. I have designed an image in MS Publisher with some text on top of the image. I then saved the image + textbox as one complete jpeg image. However when I load it unto the website although the image looks crisp the actual text is quite grainy. Can anyone advise how to make the text in the textbox crisper?

    Thanks everyone

Assuming the font is one available for browsers you could use CSS to position a layer with actual text above the layer with the image. Without seeing the image and not knowing anything about MS Publisher I can't give you any help in fixing the problem the way you're doing it, but hopefully someone else can.
