So What Do You Think???

I have a couple of pages that I have been working on and would like to get some opinions and/or input on how the sites look.

The first is HERE. It is a complete overhaul for the RC club I belong to. Ignore the links as they still go to the old pages of this site. I won't have all of the pages up and live until the club President gives me an okay to proceed.

The second is HERE. None of the links work yet and I am still using external urls until a decision on a domain is made and it gets registered. Then it'll go live.

I appreciate having honest comments and/or suggestions. I am about as creative as a rock so this is a bit of a struggle for me.

I think you might want to put in the text somewhere about your location in Butler County, Pennsylvania assuming that is where you are. I am in Spain and I would say that it is a good site simply built and serves its message well. You might want to look at different methods for presenting your main body text in using colour and emphasis. It will be functionality and interactiveness that will determine its look and feel. Try not to make visitors go more than 2 clicks to any content. This kind of site lends itself well to a bulletin/messageboard, something youmay wish to look at.
