There are only 2 areas that I think need work. One being the location of the banners.
For some reason the banners seem more prominent than the stories. The banners will definitely be more affective, but I think it's hurting your stories. Especially the ones on the left. I'm thinking if it were on right or having less padding around it will make the stories stand out more.The only other thing is under the member login. For some reason it feels a little akward like something should be underneath it or something. That could just be me though.
Overall I really like it, I really like your footer treatment. Keep up the great work
