Considering Webdesign as a Career

Hello Community,

I would like to consider Webdesign as a career and was wondering how the career is at this moment. Is it hard to find a job after completing school? How much does webdesigners make? For the ones currently in the career, are you liking it? Would you pursue in something else in a related field? Please tell me your experiences.

There is an upcoming open house at a college nearby my home, the college is Arts Institute. I'm not too sure if they'll have these kind of information. Thanks for reading.
