slideshow software

I am designing a website using dreamweaver CS4, and I have been looking at various slideshow software to put on my homepage. I picked " wondershare" and ordered the trial version. It was easy to use and had the "look" I was looking for.
Everytime I pulled up the site on Dreamweaver I got a message stating the embed tag was not compatable in XHTML Transitional, and the first time each day I viewed the site in IE, the pictures did not load but music played. Any suggestions of other slideshow software that may not present this problem. Thanks Jomo7
