Video content on website home page - how to make for everyone?

    Hi guys,

On the below link, I have a question

    http://www.hamiltonwatch.com/views/i...ndex_video.php

I want to put this expanded video on the homepage as you see there, my only problem or question is, is what is the best practice for this ...

As on my iMac and Macbook Pro it works fine and looks perfect

Then I check it on the bad resolution of the computers in my office and it comes out really poor quality rendering of the video. Again yesterday I was in another office and it was the same situation.

So what is the best practice with putting videos on the site, especially in that format I want on the homepage?

Is it better to use flash in this instance?

    Thanks

Whilst Flash will work just fine in many instances it is also not perfect. The question, in such a situation, which you must ask yourself is - will people look at my website (and video) using an iPad. If this is likely, and it possibly is likely, then Flash will not playback for them. These days, I am very careful where I use Flash and I try not to use it in critical locations where non-functioning playback will make the page look bad.
