MySQL Database: Question about updating

Hey guys!
I have a basic site that uses a mySQL database to populate the content p.
However, I'm afraid that my friend (who will be updating the site) is going to mess something up while dealing w/ the sql code.
Are there any good affordable GUI / Easy to use programs that you would recommend for entering data into a mySQL database?
