Problems with elements position in IE

    Hi,

First of all, thanks for all the help you have given me in other occasions.

I´m trying to build a basic site using html and css and (as always) it looks ok in SAFARI, FIREFOX and CHROME, but terrible in IE. This browser is driving me mad. Everytime I have built a site I have had problems with it, and I really wish they ditched that browser for good.

Well, could somebody please tell me why some of the elements in the site look out of place in IE?

    Many thanks in advance,

    Iván

    IE is a pain

I am fully self taught, but from what i have had to do for the 3 sites i am running for customers, IE6 and the newest IE require separate codes for certain things, such as stretch image background. Safari, chrome, Firefox, all work off the same codes. Its just the 2 IE that are picky. Its a pain, but i havent seen any other way around it other then giving them codes for just them within the pages for what ever isnt working right.
