    Latest Trends in Website Design

A trend is something that slowly takes place over a longer period of time and will slowly fade away, understanding real trends helps you stay current and produce work that won’t look outdated in a year.
Below given are some of the trends in web design.

    Responsive Interface Design:
Responsive design is the hot new thing in web design at the moment and rightly so. It creates solutions, whichtruly puts the users in the center, no matter what device they choose to access the Internet on.

    HTML5 & CSS3 Standards:
Both of these new design archetypes have been accumulating an ever-growing following.Semantic web designers have been waiting years to churn out CSS-only designs rendering rounded corners and drop shadows. Additionally the W3C has made a lot of headway in garnering support from the most popular browsers.

    Rich typography:
Web font foundries, such as Google fonts and Typekit allow you to use virtually unlimited number of fonts in yourweb designs, dramatically enhancing their appeal.

    Photo backgrounds:
Another design trend that has been around for quite some time and works wonders for user engagement – provided the photography is good.

    Infographics:
Infographics is definitely here to stay – once being used only for educational purposes for niche topics, they’ve gained unprecedented popularity over past several years. Although they are not a web design trend as such, a growing number of sites use them as a good way to add visual interest to content which would otherwise look bland.

Infographics is a new term for me here. What is Infographics are what is the use of this feature.
Also if you explain in brief like how to use Infographics in HTML web desining then it is much better.

HTML5 & CSS5 both are the updated version. HTML is supported by all browsers and it is not an large entity which made up of smaller parts and after the combination of all the parts used to create something progressive and modern. CSS3 is not supported by all browsers and offers some new features to raise the quality of a website.

    - Solid Blocking: Solid blocking is a good method to reach a huge number of projects – from commercial websites to private portfolios, even social networks.

    - Backdrop photograph: is a photographic background and is good for branding and appearance reasons - to make your key objective well-built and visually attractive. You can apply this only on high quality and resolution photographs.

It is much better to use infographics instead of just images, as infographics can convey much more then what a simple image cannot. All this trends are now widely used by website designers, even I suggest my client to go for it.
