yah there will be more new trends like Typography will take center stage,Buh-bye Flash and Skeuomorphism will show its age.

It is more about unique navigation from what I've observed. For places that provide enticing articles like Dvice.com, they have recently updated their website with some sweet article navigation with scripts.
