Websites range in cost anywhere from "free" to 1 million dollars. This is not going to give anybody an idea what to charge or what to pay. There are waaayyy too many variables. You seem knowledgeable enough to realize that. It means nothing.

I have to agree with this..in my country for 1 year domain registration and hosting with - 400mb space and 20gb bandwidth cost $.35 dollar with unlimited subdomain
- Unlimited space and bandwidth with no subdomain and only 2 email account the lower price is $.20 per year

and as for web design lots of lots variables range from $.100 for 4 pages! not 1 page, to $.500 for 4 pages, as for online store cost $.750, and full flash $.1000 and more.
