Looking for a webdesigner for a fast food restaurant - Will pay
Hello all,
I am seeking a designer for my new fast food restaurant located in Boston, MA. I will need simple and easy to update website. I have some knowledge of Photoshop and HTML so I can change/update it myself after it is designed.
We already have a logo, and we are in the process of picking out colors for the restaurant.
That being said I am looking for a regular fast food restaurant website.
Nothing too fancy, but at the same time something nice and easy to use. It also needs to be very easy to update (if I ever have to add more pages, change something, etc.)
We are looking from 5-7 pages most likely.
Here are a couple of websites which have the features we are looking for (you can google them yourself since it won't let me post a link):
ufoodgrill
annastaqueria
If you are interested please post your resume/portfolio and quotes. Payment will be made after successful completion of the project.
Don't hesitate to ask any questions.
Thanks!

"Payment will be made after successful completion of the project."
Hey, can I eat at your restaurant and only pay you if a like the food?
I don't think any reputable designer will be willing to start a project without a deposit. You should be able to see a designers portfolio and be comfortable enough with them to put something on it and sign a contract, you're a business owner, lets do business don't try to rip anyone off.

Hello,
My name is Ryan Padovani, I am a Web Designer from Wilmington, DE. After reviewing the specs you have provided, I see that you would like an easy to up-date website. I can create a website for you that is fully custom in Photoshop, coded in Dream-Weaver but you can Update in Microsoft Word. This process is done by using Div Layers with Connected I-Frames. They will all be labeled and filtered into folders for easy management and organization.
You can reach me at [email address removed] or PM me on this website - webdevforums.com - My prices vary and are very inexpensive. Get back to me ASAP to let me know.
The way the website will be designed will give you complete access for self-update so you can eliminate paying someone every month.
Thanks,
Ryan A. Padovani

Update with Microsoft Word? With iframes? Hmmm... sounds peculiar, never heard of anyone updating a site like that before. But, if it works, more power to you.

If you want a site thats really easy to update I'll gladly make you one that has a similar feel to the ones you provided and won't require you to use anything but your browser to add new pages and update the content with them.
This way the only thing you need to worry about is the front end and not worry about anything done in the back end.
Since you haven't provided a budget and want to start with 5-7 pages, easy to update site (cms) and want a custom design I'll give you the quote of $200. However I am willing to work within your budget whatever it may be.
PM me if you would like any further details.
Pete

Valid point. I also dont think your going to find a good designer that wants you changing the website your self. Remember their reputation is on the line. Your best bet is to find a kid that wants to help. Also you can find cheep rates by out sourcing to India.

I agree wholeheartedly. You will notice that designers who take deposits will also have contracts to sign and terms and conditions of service i.e they have got their act together and aren't "teenage bedroom web warriors". If you want someone trustworthy and reliable you will need to pay a deposit, ironically!
