Connecting to FTP via Notepad++ 5.5.1

I just updated Notepad++ from 5.3.1 to 5.5.1 and the yellow 'show ftp folders' button is gone. It is replaced with a white 'show dialog' button. When I click this there is an option for address and button for connect. There's no place for a username or password. When I type the address and hit connect I get the message 'unable to connect to server'.

How do I connect to FTP in 5.5.1?

I am running Windows 7 if that makes a difference.
Thanks.

Are you using 64 bit? Because I experience this problems only when using Windows 7 64.

Yes it is on 64 bit. I solved the problem by going into program files (x86) folder/plugins and taking anything that is in the 'disabled' folder and putting them in the plugins folder.
