Arrests made over Zotob
COPPERS in Morocco and Turkey have fingered the collar of two men the FBI thinks are responsible for releasing the Zotob worm.
Farid Essebar, 18, was arrested in Morocco, while Atilla Ekici, 21, was arrested in Turkey at the request of the US FBI and will be prosecuted in their home countries.
Louis Riegel, the FBI's assistant director for cyber crimes, said that he believed that Essebar created the worm and Ekici paid him for it. Apparently the pair have been chatting on the net for a while.
