There is nothing unethical about looking at someone's CSS to see how they achieved a particular effect. Nor is there anything illegal as the CSS is downloaded by the browser anyway.
We can view the page source for an html file on the web, so...
Is it wrong, or unethical in any way to download their CSS file for study (not for directly copying)? After all, the path is specified in the html?
